Larry D. Laine
Larry Laine’s journey as an author began with grief poems written for personal healing. Encouraged by others who found comfort in his words, Larry published In Remembrance Of, which continues to touch the lives of grieving people worldwide. At 80 years old, Larry remains committed to writing, teaching, and preaching, sharing his deep well of poems, prayers, sermons, and reflections as ongoing resources for churches, readers, and seekers of comfort.
Larry lives in Bangor, Pennsylvania, with his family. He is married and continues to serve faithfully while writing new books, prayers, and devotionals. His upcoming works include a grief workbook, a children’s story with Penguin, and a memoir chronicling his 80 years of life, faith, and service.
I wrote the poems as therapy for personal comfort and healing. I had no intention of ever sharing them with many people. However, I found that others need someone to walk with them in their grief journey.” Larry Laine

Larry’s work is rooted in a universal spirit of inclusion, welcoming all people regardless of gender, age, orientation, race, class, or background. His writing is apolitical in tone yet deeply committed to justice, compassion, and openness.”
